I insist that you assign
your technician (or contractor) to examine the metallic fascias above the
bedroom windows on the second floor of my house on the back side.
I do
not accept your explanations that you can do and you will do nothing with this.
Who will do? The thing is that's not me but Pratt Hansen Group (so called Pratt
Homes) built this house and I bought it and paid the agreed amount to have
comfortable living for my money in any weather conditions including strong wind.
Now you state to me that design of this house is not meant for severe windy
conditions and I am destined to stay awake in windy nights because of terrible
rattling generated by fascia attached by Pratt Homes builders above the windows
instead of standard bricks.
Do you understand the absurdity of your
explanations? What about your at least one year warranty? If you or your
builders have no idea what to do with that and how to prevent the noise I will
tell you or them, just send them to address this issue and they will see that
the only thing they need to do is to attach soft material between vertical
fascia above the windows and horizontal metal sheets under the roof. If that is
not a part of your design (or Code) it should be included and this is definitely
not an excuse for you to do nothing in this case.
Do not forget to inform
me of further visits for buzzing fan in powder room and sticking handle of front
door.
