Subject: floor repair 34 Will Paddison
Ramona,

I hope you will ask Bayfield Carpet to come back and fix the floor properly.  I got home from work and am so disappointed in what I see.  It looks like a do-it-yourself patch job.  There is no attention to detail.  It would lessen the value of the hardwood floor in the house. If I was buying this house from someone I would use this repair as a reason to negotiate a lower price!!

They inserted an unsightly sliver rather than a full piece of flooring. And the grain is travelling the opposite direction of the rest of the floor.  Then they have butchered the baseboard to extend the opening where the original transition piece was, and it is now very ugly and strange looking because it is so wide an opening and draws attention to the sliver. It is the cheapest most careless repair possible in this situation.  I am absolutely disgusted.  I want it fixed properly.

Please call me or reply.  I have called Bayfield Carpet to leave a message that I am very disappointed with the patch job.

I hope this will be fixed properly.  I am absolutely dumbfounded by this shotty repair.  I honestly could have done better.  I just can't believe the lack of attention paid to the grain direction.  Pardon my French but it's fucking unbelievable.

I look forward to your reply and theirs.
