I WILL NOT ACCEPT A PATCHED AND PAINTED DOOR. THE PAINT WILL END UP COMING OFF AGAIN PROBABLY AFTER THE THE FIRST YEAR. THIS IS A POOR WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. THE PAINT WAS ORGIBNALLY APPLIED UNDER GOOD CONDITIONS. IT WAS NOT HOT OR COLD OR WET. YOU REPAIR WOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER IF THE CONDITIONS WERE POOR. PLEASE REPALCE THE DOOR IN THE SPRING WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO YOUR MANAGER BECAUSE THIS SOLUTION IS UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT WHAT PRATT HOMES IS KNOWN FOR. I BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE WITH NEW DOOR NOT PATCHED DOORS, PLEASE REPLACE THE DAMAGED DOOR. I am Teresa's replacement. The Pratt Service Manager "Wendy" has taken a look at the exterior of your front door and made some observations. You are absolutely right the paint is definitely a problem. When it was applied it must have been too hot, too cold or too wet out. At this time of year we cannot do an acceptable repair. We would like to schedule a repair for Thursday May 19/11. We will scrape down the paint, access and fix the dent that you mentioned. The door will then be repainted providing the outdoor climate is dry and temperate. If this date is not convenient please advise me of a more suitable date. We thank you for your patience in this matter. Respectively yours, Ramona Gross Service Department Pratt Hansen Group Inc.
