I have again today spoke to this homeowner regarding the $450.00 rebate. I tried very hard to explain that we did put in the carpet so the refund is the difference between the ceramic and carpet. But he doesn’t agree because as he said to me the original purchase does include for “standard carpet” so he should get the full refund of $900.00 he paid for the upgrade. He simply will not accept what I have told him. He also told me not to talk to him like he was 5yrs old as my explanation did not make any sense to him as he again said the original price included the berber carpet. He wants a more in depth answer for why he is not entitled to the full refund. I am not sure at this point how else to deal with him. Let me know if you want me to do anything further on this one.
