Thank you for sending in a
picture of the basement crack. I have consulted the Construction Performance
Guidelines issued in 2012 regarding warranties for this issue. As per Article
1.4 there is a 1 year warranty on a crack over 4mm in width you’re your home is
over 5 years old; occupied in Aug.30/07 the builder will be taking no action for
this repair. I have sent this article as an attachment for your information.

me to email you a picture of the crack beside a measuring tape. The
picture is attached and the measurement is 1/8th of an inch to 1/2
inch. Please let me know how to proceed from
here.
