Good Afternoon Sue;
I have sent a workorder to Innisfil Air to check the A/C unit. They did try to contact the tenants but the phone rings then a message picks up but there is no voice mail capability.
Can you tell me what temperature the thermostat is set at when the A/C was running?
Unfortunately when the weather is hot some people set the thermostat too low thinking this will make the condo cooler faster this will cause the A/C condenser coils to ice up then when the A/C is turned off or down this ice melts causing the “leaking”.
This is not covered under warranty nor is any damage this can cause within your condo or if there is a condo below. Please advise your tenants. Ask them to sop up the water before it soaks into the wood or flows into the carpet.
Innisfil Air will try to reach your tenants again at the end of the day to book an appointment.
Thank you,
Ramona Gross

FW: air conditioner
Hi there Ramona,
I heard from
my tenant today (see below) that their air conditioner is leaking and they have
very kindly taken pictures of the damage this leak is making. I wanted you
to be advised of this asap, given that it could eventually leak into the condo
below. They are at 133 Sydenham Wells, Unit 6. Please advise when/if
you will be able to send someone over to take a look at the air conditioning
unit.
Thanks very much !
Sue Rosil

Hi Sue. I noticed yesterday the air conditioner is leaking in the closet and there are some wet spots on the carpet near the kitchen. I attached some photos.
Hope you guys are well and enjoying your summer!
