Good morning Ramona,

 

I am sorry to send an email so early but I am very upset with the corporation or the site manager or WHOMEVER let someone into MY condo yesteday WITHOUT my permission or knowledge!  You gave me my key back on Monday night and noone should have entered my property without my knowledge.  I've never lived in a condo before - are people normally let in without the owner's knowledge or approval??

 

I feel very violated and even more so, after the mess of things from 2 days ago!  PLEASE call me as soon as you are able on my cell - I am in class but I will have my cell on all day and I will answer your call as I'd like to speak directly to you.

I sent your email to our service manager Wendy Skyba and she most certainly will meet with you at 8am on Fri. June the 15th.b, I must apologize for Cartier Kitchen’s carelessness. This email has also been sent to Cartier Kitchens’ service co-coordinator. This incident will not go unnoticed.

 

The plumbing is completed and I apologize for the pieces that were left behind but I spoke with the plumber at noon and he advised me his work is finished.

 As per Wendy we will have our Pratt Service man Gary reinstall the vent in the bathroom so it is flush with the ceiling. We could do this for you Fri. June 15th if you will leave a key with Wendy.

 

As per Wendy I can have your living room cleaned and vacuumed of the wood shavings as well as the deck on Friday. Please advise me if you would like this set up.

 

Please feel free to let me know when trades have not lived up to your or Pratt’s expectations. We need to correct any errors and not repeat them.

Good morning Ramona,

 

Thank you for listening to me yesterday!  You are very extremely calming and pleasant when I know that I can be a bit like a hurricane at times!

 

I'm sending this email to update you on what has been completed, to date, and what has not been completed.  In addition, I wanted to advise you of what was done in my condo yesterday and to reschedule the time for Wendy on Friday.

 

Is it possible for Wendy to meet me first thing on Friday morning rather than the evening?  The earlier the better for me - then I won't lose my full day of work and I don't have to worry about getting back to Barrie in any traffic on Friday.  Could she meet me at 8am (or earlier if she can)??

 

*The fan in the main bathroom has still not been adjusted.  No one has come in to do this as yet.  It needs to be sitting flush to the ceiling (the way it is in the ensuite). 

*The vanity was replaced but the plumbing was not completed yesterday - there are pieces on the floor but there were no notes to advise me of the completion?

 

The work that was done yesterday was not done with care - whoever did the work did all the cutting directly on my new rug AND my new leather chair.  There were wood shaving cuts all over my 2 rugs in the main living room and the pieces that were cut are all sitting in my PLANTERS on my balcony!  I was pretty shocked, and terribly disappointed, when I got home to see this carelessness.  Other service people who have come in, have left no traces of garbage or tracks.

 

Please advise of the plumbing completion and the possibility of switching Wendy's appointment.

I am sorry I couldn’t get word to you sooner but I was out of the office for a short period of time today. Here is an update.

 

The cleaning trade was in your condo on Wed. June 6th to remove any dead flies from fixtures and to rewash the hardwood floors again. She also rewashed the deck and cleaned the patio glass doors.

 

The floors are being repaired on Fri. June the 8th by Duncan Barrie Carpet & Hardwood’s senior & best repairman, he is only in Barrie on Fridays and they gave me priority for your condo.

 

Mon. June 11th Cartier Kitchens will be installing the new vanity and the kitchen valance at the same time. I could not get them to make 2 separate trips for these repairs. The plumber will also come on this day to remove the vanity sink and then reinstall the sink into the new vanity.

Barrie Carpet was issued a work order and sent to your condo on Tues May 22nd to do repairs.  The Pratt Service Dept. Manager met with Barrie Carpet & Hardwood Wed. 30th to go over the repairs together. This morning we had the condo floors cleaned.

 

Our head office has informed me your condo deal has closed and you are most welcome to come to the service department to pick the keys to your new condo. Congratulations.

Hi Ramona,

 

Bruno and I went over the condo and completed the inspection on May 21st.  The biggest concern I have is with the conditions of the "new" flooring which I paid a substantial additional amount (just under $9000).  I was very disturbed by their condition.  There are major scratches, gouges, spots, dirt, etc, on all areas of the flooring (which is throughout the condo) - the biggest issues are in the 3rd bedroom.  It appears that the flooring was put in prior to the major work and then not covered and then things were dragged across!  I trust this will be repaired properly with replacement pieces, etc. and that the floors will look new and beautiful!

 

Could you confirm the status of these repairs please?  I am having a delivery of appliances and furniture on June 1st and painting done the first week of June so it is imperative that this work be completed on time.
