Good Afternoon Greg:

I have confirmed with the site that the painters no longer have key access to your home; the locks were changed while they were in your home ,  they will have to book an appointment with you to get their supplies. If they have left paint cans behind, this would be paint that Pratt has  left for the homeowner’s for any touchups that may be needed during the first year.

I don’t have any outstanding repairs for the painters, so if there is anything more; just included them on the 30 day Tarion form.

The ducts were vacuumed out yesterday and a new furnace filter was installed by the site super late yesterday. Unfortunately there may still be some dust left behind and this is normal. Many first time homeowners have their ducts cleaned professionally.

North York Tile was on site today and stopped by your home to do a repair. You were not home at this time so  North York Head Office will call Monday and schedule a repair date with you. I will also place a call right now to their office and make sure they have your contact information.

Thank you and have a good day.

Hello Ramona,

I just checked the master bedroom duct. And there appears to be no change in the amount of debris and dirt in the duct.  I have attached. A picture for your reference.

As well the painters have left supplies here with the doors unlocked. Because we now have ownership and several boxes moved in we will be locking the doors when we leave. If you ask me they are definitely not done working here. And want to make sure they have keys to get back in.  Speaking to one of the guys last night they said they had keys,  but seeing how the door was not locked they must not?

Is there anyway you can confirm if in fact they have keys and when and what they will be finishing up?

Thanks,

Did your floor ducts get vacuumed out? I had spoken with the site and it may have been done yesterday. Please advise me if this was completed.

Thank you,

Good Morning Greg:

I just received an answer from the construction site and that is the hole for your dryer venting and flexible venting that will be connected to your dryer to enable the warm moist air from the dryer to be vented outside.

Hope this helps..

Subject: Another Issue for the PDI

Good evening Folks,

Upon stopping by the house for a few minutes to do measurements we noticed another issue that was missed and should be added to the PDI. I would wait for the 30 day list but this one to me is an issue that needs to be dealt with ASAP.

In the utility room in the basement there is a flex pipe coming out of the wall behind the HRV unit. The line is attached to nothing and you can see daylight coming out of it, so it must have been vented outside for some reason and then never used. When we were on site several weeks ago Steve was saying that the brick guys were coming back to correct something in that area of the house, I wonder if it was to close up that line?

Please confirm receipt of this email and that we can get this looked after soon as I don’t want to heat the outside.

Also the painters had just arrived onsite when we got there at 5. We didn’t want to be in there way so measured quickly and left so they could get working.

Regards,
