Dear Ramona: I just
wanted to let you know in writing that the entire patio door(s) and frame around
it was replaced on Wednesday, October 31st, 2012.
(Halloween).
As discussed the following day when you made a followup
telephone call, Thursday November 1st (All Saint's Day), TruFix did an excellent
job and were extremely professional. The one suggestion I had was that a
"nice touch" would have been if they brought their own shop-vac/vacuum.
With that exception I am still very happy with the work.
Additionally, Dewey came by on Friday November 2 and
completed the external caulking.

wall paint (beize/taupe colour), but I do not have any white paint for

That is all correct.
This is a professional company that will do a professional installation. Should
any paint at the door or frame area need a touch up or repair , Gary will do
this. Do you have paint for your condo for touchups?

would just like to confirm our telephone
conversation:
You
had advised me that "Benny" and his partner of TruFix will be coming to my home
on Wednesday, October 31 a.m. in order to install a new patio door and the frame
part that the door locks into.
You
indicated that this job would take a great part of the day and that your staff,
"Gary", of Pratt Homes would come by later, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., in
order to insure that this job is done correctly (and to fix up anything that
needs to be looked at, repaired, etc.?), and that this will be a professionally
done job with no visible damage to the walls, moulding, etc., on either the
inside or outside areas around the patio doors.
I
wanted to repeat that I "Googled" TruFix and could not find a listing for them
on Canada411, yellowpages, etc.
When
they came by the last couple of times, I believe they showed up in a white,
"unmarked" van. So, I am hopeful they will do a professional
job.
I
spoke to my support at Tarion and was told to proceed with this
project.

spoke to Tarion and they advised me that if the offer is still on the table,
that I should go ahead with this. I left you a voice message about this
yesterday (Oct. 19) and also left another one with TruFix to say that you
may call them about this job again.
I did
not cancel the conciliation. I am available every day except for Friday
the October 26 for the installation of this door and frame which you had
indicated that Pratt Homes would pay for.

respond by telephone, as I will not be at the library till later in the week to
read you response (and also by email). Thank

well with you. I did receive your email requesting that we do not repair the
patio door. So I will cancel the repair that is scheduled with TruFix for
tomorrow Oct.17/2012. I was reluctant to cancel right away in case you changed
your mind and as this has been sent to Tarion for conciliation. This is a big
repair and difficult to reschedule.
Please contact
Tarion and cancel your conciliation. I did leave a voice mail for you but I
won’t call again as I don’t want to be a bother. You can send me an email to
