Thank you Ramona for your kind words; I was very concerned for the worker when the icicle fell.  Hopefully, they will be gone before they start melting and come crashing down.  Have a great weekend.

Hello Joanne,

Thank you for your email but please don’t worry.

The Trade is safety conscious and aware of potential falling icicles. It is part of their contract to remove the icicles as they complete the work on the soffits. We have provided the cherry picker they are using so please don’t worry about their equipment. Pratt Service Department is aware of the icicles and has set in motion, repairs to prevent this from occurring again in the future. There is a sequence to these repairs and of course it is weather permitting. Wendy is continually taking pictures, but thank you for yours.

Regards,

Ramona Gross

Below is a picture of just how big these icicles that are hanging over our head really are.  This person is not there to remove them, he is removing them so he can do work on the soffits.  When that piece eventually fell, it landed right on his platform - could have done a lot of damage to him, his machinery and the building.  They are putting lives in danger and need to be removed.
